About & Contact

I've been designing in some way, shape, or form since about 2004 when I pirated my first copy of Photoshop. Then it was tee shirts and band posters; I still make tee shirts and posters but now I mostly try to make the internet easier to use and think a lot about how technology is changing how we interact with the world.

Currently I'm the Director of Product Design at The Atlantic where I lead a team of product and communication designers. We do everything from editorial design to new product development to marketing and brand design.

I live just outside DC with my talented wife, Elly, and our dog, Kenna.

You can usually find me cooking, walking, or reading.
